At MPMA, we believe in the power of great collaborations. In a preliminary lesson, students can experience the teaching style of one of our outstanding faculty members, assuring them a good fit for subsequent private lessons. Preliminary Lessons are half-price.

Group Music Classes

Tuition for Music Classes is billed at Registration and depends on the level and length of each class. There are no make-ups or refunds for missed classes.

REGISTRATION

A one-time registration fee of $42 will be charged to a student's account once enrolled in weekly Private Lessons.

School Policies

Tuition and INvoices

Tuition at MPMA is billed monthly, and is paid for as a package of all scheduled lesson for upcoming month. You will receive an invoice via email for the next month on the 25th of the current month. Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. If payment is not received by the 10th of the month, a $30 late fee will be applied to your bill.

Students enrolled in Private Lessons should respond to their invoice email with any scheduled lessons they will be unable to attend so that our administrators can send a revised invoice.

Students enrolled in Group Music Classes must pay for all scheduled lessons within the month, regardless of ability to attend.

CancelLations and Make-Ups

Private Students

If a private student cannot make it to their scheduled lesson, they must notify the school or their teacher prior to 24 hours before their lesson time to receive a lesson credit. This credit will be applied as a discount to the following months invoice, or can be used within the month in the form of a make-up lesson. If the school or teacher is notified less than 24 hours before the lesson time, the lesson is full price, and no discount will be applied to the following month, and no make-up will be offered.

Private students are allowed 2 make-ups per session (July-December and January-June). At least 24 hours notice is required to receive make-ups. 

Private Students are allowed 1 emergency cancelation per session. 24-hour notice is not required. 

Group Music Class Students

There are no lesson credits for students enrolled in music classes. Tuition is a paid for as a package of all scheduled lessons in the month, regardless of a students attendance.

Each class has specific policies in regards to make-ups. Please ask the instructor for specifics on whether make-ups will be provided.

Refund Policy

We do not offer tuition refunds outside of extreme circumstances. If a student wishes to stop lessons, it is recommended that they finish out the rest of the scheduled lessons in the month, after which we will cancel all further lessons and void all future invoices.

Discounts

MPMA offers a number of multiple class/lesson and family discounts on lessons, classes, and registration. Currently we have the following discounts:

• 10% Family Discount - each additional family member that enrolls in weekly, private lessons will receive a 10% discount on their tuition.
